“Versus Crisis – Future Vision ” – an international platform for supporting people in the creative and art industries
The Peter Moennig Foundation launches an open call for the applications as part of the competition. The main purpose of the foundation is to encourage and support the creative part of the society. Also, to emphasize the role of art for real change.
The competition is open to any individual who responds to the theme of the event and submits their vision in the form of an individual work or project. Collaborative works are also accepted. (In this case, it is mandatory to indicate the name and surname of each participant.)
The competition is announced in the following areas:
- Visual arts (photography, installation, painting).
- Design and crafts;
- Media art; (Graphic and digital design).
- Audio-visual art;
- Directing (short film).
The transition period always brings big changes and crucial revisions. It is a kind of judgment for the society, which involuntarily becomes a part of this process and is forced to transform the environment it existed before. Such “emigration” often manifests itself in the form of a crisis. With the crisis caused by a stagnant state and hopelessness. The year 2020 was such a turning point that significantly reassessed our values and priorities, but at the same time it caused a crisis. Later, it turned out that one of the best ways to deal with it is through creative activity. Art is a powerful tool in the hands of man and every person has the power to heal and alleviate the people affected by the crisis. However, what is their experience in such a situation? What is the artist doing at this time? “Versus Crisis” tries to reveal the mechanisms of the artist’s survival, self-determination and existence during the crisis.
Participants should submit by June 30:
- Short biography;
- Visual material and concept of the work.

- For the first place – 5000 GEL.
- For the second place – 5000 GEL.
